Concrete batching machine, also known as aggregate batching machine or sand and gravel batching system, is one of the core equipment in concrete or asphalt mixing plants. Its main function is to store, measure and transport various sand and gravel aggregates, ensure that the aggregates are accurately transported to the mixer according to the predetermined formula, and mixed with cement, fly ash, mineral powder, additives and water to form high-quality concrete.

Product Structure
The structure of the aggregate batching machine mainly includes the following parts:
Storage hopper (silo):
According to production requirements, the aggregate batching machine is usually equipped with 2 to 4 silos, and the volume of a single silo is between 4 and 12 cubic meters. The number and volume of silos are determined according to the type of aggregate and the production capacity of the production line. The common number of silos is 3 or 4 to meet the needs of concrete production that generally uses 3 or 4 types of aggregates. For silos that store fine aggregates such as sand, a silo wall vibrator is usually set near the discharge port to prevent the aggregate from “arching” and facilitate material drop.
Weighing system:
The aggregate batching machine uses a weighing system for precise measurement. The weighing system can be cumulative weighing or independent weighing. Cumulative weighing: A single weighing pan is used for switching weighing one by one, and the aggregates need to be weighed in sequence. Common types are hopper type and belt weighing type. Independent weighing: Each aggregate has an independent scale for synchronous weighing, which significantly improves the weighing efficiency and accuracy.
Belt conveyor:
The weighed aggregate is conveyed to the waiting silo of the mixer through the belt conveyor.
Control system:
The entire batching process is globally controlled by the control system to ensure batching accuracy and efficiency.
Working principle
The batching machine starts to enter the automatic batching program. First, the feeding belt conveyor is started to convey the material to the weighing hopper. When the weight in the weighing hopper reaches the set value, the machine is in a waiting state. Press the discharge button, the discharge belt conveyor works, and the prepared material is unloaded into the mixer hopper. After the discharge is completed, the discharge belt conveyor automatically stops and automatically starts the next batching cycle. After the second batching cycle is completed, it waits for the discharge again, and so on.
