Product Structure
The structure of the concrete screw conveyor mainly includes the following parts:
Driving device: It is composed of a motor, a reducer, a coupling, etc., which provides power for the screw shaft.
Screw shaft: It is composed of a rotating shaft with a spiral blade. The spiral blade is welded on the shaft and pushes the material forward when it rotates.
Material trough: The material trough is a closed U-shaped or cylindrical channel in which the screw shaft rotates. The material of the material trough is usually wear-resistant steel plate, and a lining plate is provided inside to improve wear resistance.
Feed port and discharge port: The feed port is located at one end of the material trough for receiving materials; the discharge port is located at the other end for discharging materials.
Support device: Both ends of the screw shaft are supported by a support device, which usually includes a bearing seat and a bearing.
Sealing device: In order to prevent material leakage and the entry of external impurities, the screw conveyor is provided with sealing devices at the feed port, discharge port and support device.
Working principle
The motor starts and drives the screw shaft to rotate through the reducer and coupling. When the spiral blade rotates, the material moves forward along the trough under the push of the spiral blade. During the movement, the material is subjected to the thrust of the spiral blade and the friction of the trough wall, forming a continuous material flow. The material enters the trough from the feed port, moves along the trough under the push of the spiral blade, and is finally discharged from the discharge port. Due to the continuous rotation of the spiral shaft, the material can be continuously conveyed to achieve continuous production.
